Go Normcore!

Standard

Love this trend. The basic mantra here is to blend in not stand out, especially because of your clothes. It is a result of fashion oversaturation. This does not mean that you are unfashionable. It means dressing to blend in, and not to stand out because of your clothing. It is detail free, non fussy design. IT SCREAMS ABOUT INGRAINED AUTHORITY AND CLASS.

It is all about wearing comfortable clothes. If your personality has to shine out, it will.

Welcome to this wonderful inspiring trend.

ENJOY!

Enjoy the Festivities.

Standard

Season to be jolly…Merry Christmas.

The following is a picture of the festivities at my house.

Don’t miss the festivities.
I came across a post today ,in which my dear friend actually said that the festivals nowadays have lost the charm. Now that is sad. The present generation believes in catching up on movies online and are busy on the social media. The festival is just another holiday. But we as elders have a duty. Don’t you think that the festivals will die with us. Do we want that? Do we want our grandchildren to be bereft from the joy of celebrating festivals? No. So it comes upon us to set an example. Let us vow to carry on the legacy of our cultures.Be it a small gesture, but please do celebrate festivals.

Dont be a scrooge.

Merry Christmas!

Wear Red For Christmas.

Merry Christmas to all….

I love festivals. I love dressing up according to the occasion also. So red it is for Christmas.

Now it difficult to carry an all red outfit. Here I show you my way of adding that little bit of red for christmas while dressing up for work.

Red pashmina scarf, red floral dress, black coat and leggings and black boots.

For My Son.

You get to choose one gift — no price restrictions — for any person you want. The caveat? You have to give it anonymously. What gift would you give, and to whom?

What anyone wants in life, varies from person to person, and time to time. At this point of time for instance, I want to gift my son a seat in a nice management college. It would be so perfect. He is working hard. And he wants to do it on his own.So, Dear Santa, please make it happen. Let him not know that you gave it to him. I want to see that pure happiness across his face. Please.

Colored muffler x Black Dress

An all black outfit never fails. To add more drama to an all black outfit, what better than a colored pashmina stole.

stole

I am wearing a black wool coat( from Hong Kong), black midi dress, black skinnies and a green blue pashmina stole.

This look is super chic and super warm.

It is also slimming and a good smart option for women my age….in their 40’S.

A black midi dress and black skinnies are a must for a winter capsule wardrobe.

ENJOY!
