the loneliness so difficult, the aloofness unbearable
the unfrequented mountain welcomes the splashing waves
This is exquisite, Mira — I can really see the pauses and breaks in action and it keeps the piece flowing smoothly and beautifully. And the poetic imagery is perfect. Your sijo spoke to me — thank you for writing for this challenge 🙂

This is brilliant! You make the Sijo look so simple, whereas when I tried it… Anyway, I guess I’ll have a go some other time. Loved your poem, in any case!
