I repeatedly

Look into the stained mirror

Above

The sink

At my workplace

And

Into the car rear view mirror

Into

The sunglasses

My daughter wears

Reflections

Caught in the

Shop windows

But

I see

What I am

An ageing woman

Whose youth

Is

Now dwindling

And

The silhouettes

Too

Don’t favour her

Anymore
