it gives way

to a diffident old age

gone are your days of glory

in the eyes of others

love yourself

respect your body

and go on

to live a life of fulfilment

all about love

vying for your attention

makes me do

silly things

but

it is all about love

in the end

what matters most

is

how happy are you

together

it should happen

simultaneously

falling in love

together

falling out of love

together

a beautiful soul

it’s God’s gift

when you have good looks

and people love you

but

what about the beautiful soul

which is

always overlooked

imagination

your thoughts

keep me warm at night

they caress me to sleep

even though

you don’t exist

and are just

a figment of my imagination
