lazy winter afternoon

ambling along the sidewalk

window shopping

wintry night

cold wintry night

a small dog on the sidewalk

shivering in the chill

 

 

buying blankets

looking for abandoned animals

waiting to cover them

on my birthday

I look at you both with affection

my sisters

a reminiscent

of my parent’s existence

a constant reminder

that we were born

of the same love

between two people

who no longer stay

in the mortal world

end of time

share my life

hold my hand

look into my eyes

and take a vow

we will stay

together

till the end of time

opposites

I wanted my man

to be

like my father

but

I got you instead

and

I got all confused

do such opposites exist ???

no hiding old age

grey hair peeping

from under the fashion colour

can’t hide old age
