Small roadblocks

On an otherwise perfect road

goodbye winter

when the quilt feels too warm

the dreams are drenched in sunlight

goodbye winter, summer beckons

unknown dreams

what is death 

a long drawn sleep

with dreams unknown

abandoned

a lone kitten

abandoned on the sidewalk

someone take her home

high tide

you come and go

like the tidal waves

I keep waiting
