I see you
in these tough times
and that is enough
I see you
in these tough times
and that is enough
fragile as a drop of rain
perched on the tip of a leaf
our life … our existence
listening to the birds
feeling the spring breeze
back to basics
we have come a long way
nature has us homebound
unprecedented times
hey you! the younger me
live your life simply mindfully
you will be a better older you
why did we need
a pandemic to break borders
hope its a lesson learnt
he still thinks of me
she whispers in my ear
the balmy summer breeze
longing for freedom
the mighty nature’s wrath
has all quarantined
as I age
so do you
as my hair turn grey
I can see your silver locks too
my eyes wrinkle as I smile
so do yours
my back hurts and my joints creak
I can see you popping a pill too
I love to grow old with you
I adore the camaraderie we share
is it still love or companionship
but whatever it is
I know you care
if my poetry had wings
the words would have flown to you
inundating you with love
