lockdown
I spend time with myself
…yet again
midday siesta
I slowly drift into
my childhood
the camera tries
for my perfect picture …but
it captures the truth
first rain
lovers caught unawares
without an umbrella
is it your face
or the super flower moon-the reason
of my sleepless nights
stuck in the pandemic
spending time with loved ones
you only live once
cold bare trees
sitting huddled together
a pair of pigeons
I am a great fan of long shrugs. Especially, ultralong ones are a boon for a slimming effect.
Here, I am wearing a long multicolored Rajasthani Kurta, with black palazzos and a sleeveless lycra black shrug. This is a typical fusion wear. I love this shrug, as it has come to my rescue a number of times ,when I need a flattering silhouette
The long multicolored kurta gives a nice break to the black outfit.
The light layering is enough for the slight chill.
I have accessorized very less in this outfit, as the colors of the kurta stand out.
Nude ballerinas are perfect for this attire.
A great outfit for women who don’t want to let go of their ethnic wear.
ENJOY!

I am a huge fan of traditional wear but I love a slight twist. Today I am wearing a long yellowish beige kurta with an animal print patching on the neckline and on the hemline.
I have paired it with a simple silver hasli and diamond earrings.
To beat the chill I have picked up a black shrug.
BeigeĀ ballet flats complete the look.
The key is not to go OTT and let the animal print stand out.
This is a nice outfit for fall. It is traditional yet has a contemporary touch to it.
ENJOY!
