to fall in love
and not be reciprocated at all
is embarrassing as hell

i can drown in them

your eyes drive me crazy
Slip away

………….
you should have told
that I was your favorite child
not slip away in sleep
Emptiness

………………
you went away
leaving me with nothing but emptiness
and your memories to hold on
………………………..
when death embraced you
you left behind values to hold on
that made me survive
a thousand memories (haiku)

soft caress
of the cool autumn breeze
a thousand memories
Stagnant waterfall.
Something about this photo my son took that makes me feel alive. He captured this waterfall in motion. This was on our way to a hill resort last year.
Something like water , which is always so full of life, looks amazing when its motion is captured by a camera.

Leftovers Sandwich
Today, publish a post based on unused material from a previous piece –a paragraph you nixed, a link you didn’t include, a photo you decided not to use. Let your leftovers shine.
ENJOY!
FAKE LANTERNS.

Second-Hand Stories
What’s the best story someone else has recently told you (in person, preferably)? Share it with us, and feel free to embellish — that’s how good stories become great, after all.
A picture is worth a thousand words …
This picture taken by my son tells a story, which he has nicely described by the accompanying poem.

We see life while running fast,
With our minds trapped in the concrete jungle,
We forget to see the natural side of life,
We start to live in our own lies..
We have forgotten how to be free,
Owned by our technology, we’ve forgotten how to see,
See how beautiful life is outside our fake shell..
We forgotten how to make stories and tell..
We travel in our “safe” metal cocoons everywhere,
Running day and night, here and there..
Take the time to take out the old cycle you own,
Ride it down the street you everyday see, but have never known..
We forget to think how it feels to be free,
Think how much of the world, we’re yet to see..
Ask yourself where we’ve lost the simplicity,
Cause I see lanterns lit by electricity..
Oh they scared me!

Trick or Trick
It’s Halloween, and you just ran out of candy. If the neighborhood kids (or anyone else, really) were to truly scare you, what trick would they have to subject you to?
I am always terrified of noisy kids…so here it is what it would take to scare me…hahaha.

Its Halloween, give us candy,
Make sure you give it to us,
Or else you know our modus operandi,
So better not create a fuss.
Its our right so we ask,
No point in hiding now,
Its not that big a task,
Come and take a bow.
All night we will be at your door,
We will not let you sleep,
Some will lie and cry on your floor,
We will tell all you are so cheap.
