but I see dreams strewn

across the night sky

rainbow

unexpected rain

troublesome for some…but

I like the rainbow

the sun moon and stars

a life giving tedium

where is that

mindless love that can

change your destiny

DESIRE.

Desire to be loved

Desire to love someone

Desire to be happy

Desire to have fun.

 

Desire for passion

Desire for lust

Desire to own

Own a partner is a must.

 

And then the desire for a family

Desire for a child

Desire for money

Desires of many a kind.

 

Desire for a home

Desire to be together

Desire to live with your children

Desire to be better.

 

And when the twilight years set in

A new desire arises

To be near God

To be near someone who hears your cries.

 

We run after these desires

To fulfil them is our aim

But in that race against time

Our quality of life is put to shame.
