pandemic, earthquakes
nature trying to
give a message
pandemic, earthquakes
nature trying to
give a message
as I age
so do you
as my hair turn grey
I can see your silver locks too
my eyes wrinkle as I smile
so do yours
my back hurts and my joints creak
I can see you popping a pill too
I love to grow old with you
I adore the camaraderie we share
is it still love or companionship
but whatever it is
I know you care
long tiring journey
a mirage in the distance
makes it worthwhile

interwoven
in the fabric of life
our souls
I bid adieu to this year
waiting for a better run next time
I take your leave
an ultimate dream
living fully and dying without regret
in the land of my forefathers
no past nor future
should ever matter to me
let me stay in the present
