let us all go
to a parallel universe
where all is good
let us all go
to a parallel universe
where all is good
It’s not always about physicality
Love entails togetherness
Even when we are worlds apart
We are there for each other
That’s what matters…
isn’t it my love?
I bear the fruit
But
I am also the tree
That gives the shade
I am
A woman
the moon is the same
so are the skies
and the sun
but
you are gone
or
are you still there
unseen… unfelt
if we could
leave this world together
I wouldn’t mind
leaving today
and make our own little world
in another universe
lazing in the shadows
of the cedar tree
the cool mountain air
and the sun dappled parasol
a perfect moment in time
and
I wish for a wormhole
to travel back
into time
to a similar moment
with a younger me
snuggling in my mother’s lap
and dreaming
what the future will hold
“where did you go?”
I asked my poetry
“you went…
in the search of greener pastures ”
she replied…
I beseech,
I implore thee
you may not
treat me like a queen
but
the wish to be respected
as a human
is my birthright
there is always a glow
in somebody else’s house
looking from the outside
but
you cannot imagine
your house
to have the same luminosity
when others
view you in your home
so
It always is not true
what glitters…
is not always heaven
we loved each other
it was our world
but
I don’t know when
you
became a stranger
and
our lives changed
