In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Muse.”
I have been travelling for the past fifteen days. One day as I stood at the window of my hotel room, a very fine wind was blowing. Even though I was miles away from home, the wind seemed to have the same feel as it was there at my place.
wind carries memories
of my childhood, of home and hearth
the fragrance all pervading
can you spot the parrot?
As I was walking that ribbon of highway, I saw above me that endless skyway: I saw below me that golden valley: This land was made for you and me. I’ve roamed and rambled and I followed my footsteps, To the sparkling sands of her diamond deserts; And all around me a voice was sounding: This land was made for you and me.
the beauty of this world we live in
is nothing when i walk alone
promise to be together always

…and a taxi on the way.
