late night, unsettled

me active on social media

looking for approval?

Love that doesn’t punish

It’s not worth it

when

love destroys and possesses

instead of

making you grow and

giving freedom and happiness

glow in their house

there is always a glow

in somebody else’s house

looking from the outside

but

you cannot imagine

your house

to have the same luminosity

when others

view you in your home

so

It always is not true

what glitters…

is not always heaven

botox…haiku

looking in the mirror

oh! are those frown lines?

but no botox for me

Yes

I have fallen out of love

So understand … please

And let us be friends

bygone days

your tiny feet…I can  still hear them

running on the cold stone floors

of our old home

and those eyes …looking up to me

from every direction

but

now

I dont know when you come and go out of the house

I pine to spend time with you my baby

but i guess

you are a man now

so fly

make your own world

and leave me with the memories

of the glorius bygone days

 

 

It is not about feminism

you raise your voice

you disrespect me

you lose me

because

it is not about feminism

but it is all about

self respect

your love

you loved me

but

not the way

I envisioned

our children

growing up

they

never leave our side

and

we have no time

for ourselves

until

one day

they go away

to make their own lives

and we

have all the unwanted time

in the world

beautiful no more

age grounded me
