Your house same as mine,

Your books same as mine,

Even the color of the walls,

Oh gosh, same as mine.

The wind chimes are the same,

Same is the art on the wall,

The garden and the plants are the same,

Same is the sound of feet in the hall.

Oh stranger, are you really a stranger,

Or is this a different life,

Are your parents also the same

Maybe I got lucky this time.

Mine I lost a while ago,

I don’t mind the imitation at all.

If our parents are also same,

I will be so happy, give them a call.

I lay on the bed,

Riddled with pain,

My whole body ached,

My mind was not sane.

My skin was sagging,

My eyesight weak,

The night was dragging,

I was turning into a freak.

I wished for health,

I yearned for youth,

I hoped for wealth,

That was the truth.

I waited for the dawn,

I waited for  God’s grace,

And as the new sun shone,

I saw my new face.

I was young again,

I again had health,

I had an active brain,

God had given me the ultimate wealth.

I want to be in ‘Pretty Woman’. as Pretty woman. I want to be Edward’s Vivian. Oh my gosh , the romance, the love and pure eroticisim of Edward and Vivian’s chemistry was a dream .

A girl can wish …right!

Definitely my favorite movie of all times. A movie I watched when I was 26 years old and adjusting to my arranged marriage of 2 years.

Ah! The Daily Prompt got me into a trance.
