When’s the last time you followed your instinct despite not being sure it was the right thing to do? Did it end up being the right call?
My gut was my dad
He knew what was good for me
From my studies to my marriage
My future he could see
It sure worked out well
I have been happy so far
It paid to follow dad’s advice
My life is not bizarre
Gut feeling is experience
I feel that way
Our intuitions grow with time
So our children are not led astray
I do follow my gut
Now that dad is no longer there
Because he taught me a lot
That’s what with my kids I share.
