motherhood

did you ever realise

that it very tough to be

a mother

when 

you love both your children dearly

but

love one

a little bit more

vulnerable

can you see through it

through the pretence and facade

the vulnerable woman in me

pining for you

to take me in your protective arms

and be a girl once again

No fame no pain

I don’t want fame

And too much money

I don’t need People

to recognise

me

as I grow old

for I just want to settle down

With my own family

Without unwanted human

interactions

from fellow humans

Who

Just give pain

spring

welcome spring

I need you desperately

to lift up my spirits

sweet serendipity

in these troubled times

an accidental interlude with you

my sweet serendipity

lifetimes….

this moment

and the next and next

three lifetimes

you are alive

the sun is out

the skies are clear

so give a smile

for

you are alive dear

you spend with yourself

you are all you have
