Hi there! It is that time of the year again when the chill sets in. Now I am a great lover of a longish silhouette. But in winters you need to keep warm also. So how do I pair my dresses with pants?
This was a look for the youngsters.
For my age here it is…
Pairing dresses with tights is also a smart option. Try and go for shoes in the same color as the pant or you can wear nude shoes too.
The safest option is to wear black pants or leggings with black boots. This gives an impression of length.
Add a scarf for warmth.
The best part of this look is that it hides flab and is super comfy.
I hope to rock this look this winter.
Wearing black is a rule in winters. But ,wearing it with a twist is the key.
Here I am wearing a collared kurta, that is paneled with a multicolored print on one side.
I am wearing this kurta with black palazzos and nude ballerinas. To beat the cold, I am wearing a long black cape in a fine knit.
The back of the kurta is printed, as is the front half. The cuffs on the sleeves are also printed.
Took a black pashmina scarf while traveling. A pair of cat eye sunglasses from DKNY complete the look.
I am a great fan of long shrugs. Especially, ultralong ones are a boon for a slimming effect.
Here, I am wearing a long multicolored Rajasthani Kurta, with black palazzos and a sleeveless lycra black shrug. This is a typical fusion wear. I love this shrug, as it has come to my rescue a number of times ,when I need a flattering silhouette
The long multicolored kurta gives a nice break to the black outfit.
The light layering is enough for the slight chill.
I have accessorized very less in this outfit, as the colors of the kurta stand out.
Nude ballerinas are perfect for this attire.
A great outfit for women who don’t want to let go of their ethnic wear.
I am a huge fan of traditional wear but I love a slight twist. Today I am wearing a long yellowish beige kurta with an animal print patching on the neckline and on the hemline.
I have paired it with a simple silver hasli and diamond earrings.
To beat the chill I have picked up a black shrug.
Beige ballet flats complete the look.
The key is not to go OTT and let the animal print stand out.
This is a nice outfit for fall. It is traditional yet has a contemporary touch to it.
Now that winter is here, it is a must to keep your feet warm. My all time, all season color is nude. As I am all for comfortable fashion, I like to wear nice comfortable flats in winter. The nude color goes with all outfits, so it is comfortable as one does not have to change shoes with all outfits.Especially now when you don’t need to wear socks.
Here are some of my picks for this season.
Hi folks! Now that I have introduced you to the indian wear terminology,I am going to go ahead and show how the demure kurta can be worn.
Here I am wearing a printed pakistani print kurta with black cotton pyjamas. the pyjamas are slightly above ankles and the kurta is quite long.
I wore this while traveling. It is comfortable and looks fresh.Got a lot of compliments for this outfit.
The length of the kurta gives a slimming effect.
A nice wear for fall.
You can wear heels with this outfit, but I wore flats, as I wanted to travel in comfort. The nude color goes with everything, so I had to pack less.
My silver neckpiece from Jaipur, is an all time favorite of mine.
My whole outfit except the accessories, costed just INR 4500(shoes included)
SOLE– Super comfy…check.
ARCH – High…check.
Yipee!!!!! Thanks to SKECHERS I found the perfect shoes for traveling. Though I found them after my vacation but as I told you these shoes are forcing me to plan my next vacation. Here are my newly bought Skechers gold toned women’s shoes.
These shoes are super comfy and don’t look out of place when worn with any outfit. Don’t miss the hint of glamour.
Cant wait for my next vacation.
Till next time!
