wormhole

Standard

lazing in the shadows

of the cedar tree

the cool mountain air

and the sun dappled parasol

a perfect moment in time

and

I wish for a wormhole

to travel back

into time

to a similar moment

with a younger me

snuggling in my mother’s lap

and dreaming

what the future will hold

extra-marital

Standard

the love was painful

and she was guilt ridden

so…she walked away

born beautiful

Standard

let the beauty shine

you were born beautiful

never doubt that

pyrotechnics

Standard

cold winter sunlight

thinking of the scorching summer

and passion pyrotechnics

miracle

Standard

hold on carefully

to the miracle called life for

you only experience it once

daddy’s girl

Standard

will dad catch me

the little girl was fearful but

she jumped anyways
