saying goodbye
to the fading summer
till we meet again
saying goodbye
to the fading summer
till we meet again
summer rain
each sparkling drop carrying
memories of a lost love
summer night
in the water puddles
dogs sleep
summer storm
the animals come to know of it
much before us
the mild snoring of my Lhasa
the white noise of the air-con
a perfect summer siesta
summer afternoon
around a water puddle
birds gather
ensconced in my sarong
reminiscent of the beach summer
a few grains of sand
when the quilt feels too warm
the dreams are drenched in sunlight
goodbye winter, summer beckons
cold wintry nights
I pine I languish for
the midsummer fun
cold winds blowing
I sit huddled in my quilt
waiting for summer
