Say Yes To Good Health.
Today was year wrap up time. What better way to end my year than by a complete health checkup. I Had been dreading it for the longest time. So I finally mustered up the courage to go for it. All was OK except something amiss in my ECG. I have a stupid emotional heart, so in a way it was expected. Not to forget a strong family history of heart attacks. Finally over with the ordeal. It is funny how the hospitals are swarming with people who are striving hard to live a healthy life. I think one has to do this. After all we only live once. Above are the healthy eating brochures given to me by the health check up staff.
So Dearie’s, do get your health check ups…remember to promise yourself a healthy life. Let’s squeeze out the maximum from this gift from god.
Here is to a rocking 2015.

Finally a Grown Up.
https://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt/all-grown-up/
When was the first time you really felt like a grown up (if ever)?
The youngest in the family
Always treated like a kid
A child at heart
From responsibilities I hid.
Never wanted to be a grown up
Even when I became a mother
Always a friend to my children
About the world I did not bother.
But when my daughter had a boyfriend
And he came home to meet me
That was the time I felt like an elder
And now it was for all to see.

Daily Prompt: Hindsight

Here’s today’s Daily Prompt Challenge: Hindsight. Now that you’ve got some blogging experience under your belt, re-write your first post.
Hi folks! I am venturing out into the world of blogging. It has been a childhood dream of mine to be a writer and a fashion adviser. Lets see how this journey turns out to be. I am excited and scared both. So here is something about me.
I am a doctor . 49years old, a professor in a medical college.I have two kids, a daughter 26 years old, a dentist and a son 21 years old, studying engineering.
I have a huge penchant for fashion. I dont know whether I am good at advising others on fashion or not. Lets see.
I also like writing poetry. Time and again I would try my hand at this also.
Looking forward to a lifetime of friendship.
Be happy and lets enjoy life together.
About Me!
The New Millenium.
Sunday Photo Fiction – December 28th 2014
It was the night of the millenium. Yes…Year 2000 was beckoning , and all of us awaited with bated breaths . What was going to change?
So the firecrackers started. It was all over the ebony sky. Lovely shapes formed in the sky. This went on till the wee hours of the morning of 1st January, 2000.
As the festivities were coming to an end, I looked around for the magic to happen. After all everybody said that things were going to change in the new millenium. But there was nothing, zilch. I started walking back to my car. As soon as I opened the door, there he was…..a small figure with blinking lights on his head . The new millenium had left me a friend.
He was an alien.
Hot Mornings…..

Monochrome x Pop of Color
I love monochrome. But going all out may look a little drab. The best way to spice it up is by way of accessories.
Here I am wearing an all black outfit which I have accessorized with a multicolored stone necklace. It adds enough glamour to shift from a day look to an image makeover for an evening out.
This is easy fashion!
Hope you liked the look.
ENJOY!!!
