In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Burnt.”
Burnt
Remember this prompt, when your home was on fire and you got to save five items? That means you left a lot of stuff behind. What are the things you wish you could have taken, but had to leave behind?
Now that is a difficult question….I am a greedy and a materialistic person. So here a few more things I would have wanted to save.
My jewellery.
All my clothes.
My watch collection.
My id ‘s.
My shoes.
My cell phone.
So that is all about, I think.
Denim is a fabric that is timeless. Thin denim, think instant chic. Today I picked out some outfits, which I think are a nice way to wear denim , especially for those above 40. It is classy and an all season fabric. You can add enough variation by adding different shades of denim, different lengths and different styling.
Denim Jackets.
The Chambray Shirt.
All denim…light and dark.
Denim dress with belt…
Button down dress.
Denim culottes.
ENJOY!
Flare…my selfie in the sun…
and glare….God behind bars….

some money to survive
my credit card of course
my hard drive with the pictures
that remind me of my high and lows.
……………………………………………………..
would love to save the house
the smells, the creaking stairs
the warmth of the kitchen
my victories, my fears
……………………………………………………..
my favorite dress
photographs unsaved
the rest money can buy
thank god memories remain unscathed.
This is my first attempt at writing a choka. Had to write because of Jen og blogitorloseit.

This is no fiction though…or even a proper choka….but it just flowed out.
those marble like eyes
stared at me from behind the fur
so much love in them for me
………………………………………………………………..
the pink little nose twitched with my scent
the fluffy tail wagged, so full of life
…………………………………………………………………..
i loved him too much to see him go
i wait for another life to have him again
i was lucky to have you my child
…………………………………………………………………
you made my life a happy place
i see you in my dreams even today
……………………………………………………………..
but wherever you are in a faraway land
those eyes waiting for me
be sure i will be there some time
the warm languid breeze touches your face
your skin flushes in the aftermath
i long to caress you
the mind plays games with me
what, where, how and when
sanity is so precious

My word is...LOVACATION.
Origin….English, noun.
Meaning….a vacation taken with your loved one with the sole purpose of rekindling the romance.
Would love to have more of Lovacations.
